New feature – a new way to load ‘flu at risk’ patients into PatientChase

14th Aug 2020

With the impact of Coronavirus, there is increased importance upon vaccinating patients against flu. This includes the introduction of a new group of patients – those aged 50-64.

PatientChase now has the functionality for your practice to manage ALL of the groups at risk. And it’s easy to do.

Previously it was a case of importing a specific at risk group one at a time, treating them in isolation.

In our latest version, every group is listed in our Search Builder as individual searches, allowing you to choose any combination, be it everyone at risk in the practice or a combination of specific age groups.

In the example above, the ‘all patients at risk who have not had the flu jab’ target is picked which is a very useful search if you want to target everyone at risk. Notice the sub groups below that. You can select any or all. So for example, should you wish to target all over 50s only, simply click both the ‘Flu Jab 50-64’ and ‘Flu Jab over 65’ targets. They will then combine and display in your results.

Once selected, you can then easily contact them through PatientChase via SMS, email or letter.
