NOTE: In order to share searches, other users need to have PatientChase loaded on their computers.
Step 1 – Save your library on to your shared network drive.
Your searches are saved within your library. It is the library that is shared.
Go to Library>Save As.
A dialogue box opens:
Give your library a name and save it on your shared network drive. Somewhere that others can pick it up from.
NOTE: To ensure that there is not a file sharing violation error (i.e. 2 people trying to open the same file) either close down your copy of PatientChase once you’ve shared your library OR save your library again onto your C:\ drive.
Step 2 – Open the library on another computer that has PatientChase installed.
Go to Library>Open.
A dialogue box opens.
Click on the file that contains the library and select ‘Open’.
The library and it’s constituent searches then load on your computer.
